Have you ever arrived at the airport only to discover that you have left your passport at home? Well, I have and it was one of the most stressful times in my life. Luckily I was at the airport early enough that I had time (Just about) to travel back home, find my passport, get back to the airport and get on the flight before it left. Phew. But it was not fun I can tell you that for a fact.
Since that day I always have to be super organised before I leave for any vacation – I check and double check everything, I even have a checklist for flying and I always pack my case at least 5 days before I leave.
This might sound like I am going overboard but if you have ever forgotten to take your passport when going to the airport you will probably be the same.
Fast forward 5 years and I feel like I am a fairly efficient traveler – efficient enough that I was convinced (By one of my best friends) to start up this website. The aim of this site is to pass on some of my travelling experiences to readers around the world and hopefully to educate everyone and ensure that nobody (At least nobody who visits this website) will ever forget their passport again.
I am building this site in my spare time so progress might be slower than some other websites, but what you can expect from me when visiting this site is interesting (and real-world) blog posts about travelling, flying, different countries, interesting places to visit and other cool travel related chit-chat. You can also expect to find really useful information about traveling and specifically about getting organised when going on holiday or traveling abroad.
This information will include information on the stuff you actually need when going on holiday – like a holiday checklist, where to go to find the best holiday insurance quotes, even down to simple things like how to efficiently pack your suitcase so that you can fit the most stuff in it.
From time to time I will also do product reviews – such as my recent Calpak luggage review article – and I (hopefully) will also be doing some destination reviews in the near future – the plan here is to make a detailed post after I visit any country – just my thoughts on the destination, how much fun it was, what interesting stuff I did, what restaurants I ate, what the people were like and so on.
I would love to open my site up to the readers as well and hopefully post some content, reviews and general holiday advice from my readers – that might come further down the line though, I probably don’t even have any visitors yet.
Anyway, thats enough from me, I hope you enjoy my website and if this is your first time visiting, please check back soon because I plan to add lots more content in the coming weeks.
